Strait Gate Recovery Center for Men is a privately-owned and privately operated non profit outreach of Strait Gate Ministries Lumberton, Mississippi.

We are funded by the tuition paid by residents and donations of private individuals, local businesses, churches, and social clubs.

Strait Gate also works in cooperation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections, Law Enforcement, the Judicial System and Health and Human Services as an alternative to incarceration or loss of child custody.

Although we ARE an addiction recovery center, our first and foremost goal is to lead the men who are called into our program to an intimate, personal, one on one relationship with Jesus Christ.

We treat addiction NOT as an addiction, but as SIN. Those who submit themselves to the healing power of Christ and determine to live for Him enjoy a remarkable success rate of continued freedom from their past addictions and misbehaviors.
